Autumn has also arrived in our vineyards, which means it’s harvest time for us! As every year, this is a particularly intense and magical phase in the wine-growing year.
The 2025 grape harvest is now behind us – and it was anything but ordinary. This year, the harvest began unusually early, and the changeable weather presented us with major challenges. A swift harvest was necessary to ensure the quality of the grapes.
Our goal was clear: to get the best out of the grapes despite the difficult conditions – and we succeeded!
Jörg Lanius: ‘Even though the harvest was somewhat smaller this year due to the weather, I am all the happier about the quality of the grapes. We harvested each one by hand and selected them carefully – and that’s exactly what paid off: the vines rewarded us with intense aromas, healthy fruit and lots of character. I’m really looking forward to seeing what comes of it in the cellar.’
We look forward to the coming year with pride and great anticipation. This year has demanded a lot from us – and at the same time shown us what is possible when experience, team spirit and passion come together.
