Stefanie Boltz sings summer anthems from the worlds of soul, pop and jazz
To mark the start of summer, our first musical wine tasting will feature a selection of summer anthems from the worlds of soul, pop and jazz. These include ‘Everybody Loves the Sunshine’ by Roy Ayers, ‘Watermelon Man’ by Herbie Hancock and ‘Summer Breeze’. These and other classics are given a fresh take by singer, songwriter and curator Stefanie Boltz – groovy and atmospheric. Because as the days grow longer, we can once again allow ourselves to ‘waste’ time, just as Otis Redding shows us in his legendary ‘Sitting on the Dock of the Bay’…
With “MIDSUMMER POEM”, Stefanie Boltz’s new album and programme, which is making its debut at our wine tasting, the duo turns its attention to the most vibrant time of year, when nature showers us with an abundance of images, colours and a wealth of sensory experiences.
And on this evening, we will be indulging not only our sense of hearing, but also our senses of taste and smell – with a selection of fine wines presented at an open-table tasting by the VDP wineries Lanius-Knab from Oberwesel and Matthias Müller from Spay. What’s more, from 6 pm onwards, you can order regional delicacies to accompany the wine and enjoy them in the vineyard’s cosy garden.

The ticket is valid on the day of the event as a VRM ticket for the outward and return journey
